Choral festival
As well as a church interchange ( when we travel to another local church) on 27th April 2025, the choir is excited to be performing at this year's Cork Choral Festival, which takes place between the 30th April to the 4th May 2025. We are performing at The Cathedral of St Mary and St Anne (The North Cathedral) on the 4th of May in the Church Music Competition.
Also, as part of the Sacred Trail, we will welcome a visiting choir to St Patricks on the 4th May 2025. Coro Sinfonia, from Spain are scheduled to sing at the 11am Mass. See more : https://www.corkchoral.ie/festival_choirs/coro-sinfonia/
Church Interchange:
Our choir has been scheduled to sing in St Columba's Church, Douglas on Sunday 27th April at 11am. The choir of Church of Our Lady and St. John, Carrigaline will sing at the 11am Sunday 27th in St Pats.
Easter 2025

Easter is the greatest feast in the Christian calendar. On Easter Sunday, Christians celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. For Catholics, Easter Sunday comes at the end of 40 days of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving known as Lent
Youghal Choral Society have kindly invited us to perform at their summer concert at 7 pm Sat 24th May 2025 in St Mary’s Collegiate Church in Youghal.
Christmas Concert featuring Elizabeth Cooney
We were delighted to have had the renowned violinist Elizabeth Cooney starring in this year's Christmas Concert at St Patrick's Church, Rochestown. As a recitalist, she has performed at the Royal Festival Hall, the Wigmore Hall, the National Concert Hall Dublin, the Purcell Room and Conway Hall, London.
As a concerto soloist she has toured numerous times with the National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland, the Liszt Chamber Orchestra of Hungary, the Slovenian Philharmonic, appeared on TV with the RTE Concert Orchestra and the Ulster Orchestra (recorded live on BBC Radio 3). The Choir Director was Pat Sheehan Corbett and the accompanist/vocalist Susan Mannion O'Brien.
It was a joyful evening of carols. There were four different choirs, St Patrick's Gaudete and Chamber choirs, St Columba's and SHEP choirs, singing all the Christmas songs you love.
